The BMT Community Support Center will provide a fun, nurturing environment that helps strengthen and unite families. Programs and activities include:
- The Breakfast Club: Parents hold monthly breakfast meetings to explore creative solutions to societal issues affecting their children
- Family Counseling Services
- Community Fun Day
- Single & Parenting Program
- Young Readers Book Club
A VISION FOR YOUTH:
It takes a village to raise a child.” The BMT Community Support Center’s “village” will provide an array of youth programs and activities that encourage and promote the educational, personal, and physical growth of young people. Programs and activities will include:
- Academic Mentoring Program
- The Next Step Program
- Recreational Activities
- Summer/Winter Day Camps
- Truth About Drugs Program
- Youth Workstart Program
A VISION FOR TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT:
The BMT Community Support Center‘s Computer Technology Center will provide a key venue for community residents who might not otherwise have access to or knowledge of computers: Programs and services will include:
- Basic Computer Software and programming
- Internet Training
- Advanced Computer Skills Training
A VISION FOR A HEALTHIER FUTURE:
The BMT Community Support Center’s Health & Wellness Center will encompass a community health and wellness clinic. The health and wellness clinic will provide community residents with preventive medical care, regardless of income or insured status. Services will include:
- Healthy Living Seminars
- Free Child Immunizations
- On-Site Physicians And/or Nurse Practitioner
- Health Fairs and Blood Drives
- Resource Center
- Seniors Aerobics
